Homeward, Tulsa

An extraordinary quilt, composed of diverse materials and perspectives, will be on display at the Tulsa Arts Coalition (TAC) this September. Created by 18 artists from around the world, including Tulsa, "Homeward" is a collaborative exploration of the concept of home.

Teleportal, an international art collective formed during the pandemic, is the driving force behind this unique project. Each artist contributed a square to the quilt, expressing their personal interpretation of home through a variety of mediums. The result is a visually stunning and emotionally resonant piece of art.

"Homeward" will be unveiled at an opening reception on Friday, September 6th, from 6 to 9 p.m., and remain on display through September 28th. The TAC Gallery is located at 9 Reconciliation Way in Tulsa's Arts District.

In addition to the quilt, visitors can purchase a zine featuring the artists and their work.
